Vera Causa Group will serve as in the role of Public Information Officer and Strategic Advisor to help you:

​

  • Develop communication and education strategy and implementation plan that will serve as a framework for all public communication to create stronger and more productive relationships with the community, media, and other stakeholders

  • Facilitate communication between the District Attorney’s Office and the media for increased education and understanding with the belief that an engaged public can create a safer community 

  • Support the District Attorney  and serve as spokesperson for the District Attorney's Office when appropriate, responding to media inquiries and providing accurate, timely information about cases, policies, and office initiatives while adhering to legal and ethical guidelines to promote transparency

  • Draft for review media advisories, news releases, statements, key messages and other communications

  • Monitor media coverage and public dialogue

  • Monitor online media platforms including the website, social media and video platforms

  • Foster open communication and engagement with constituents, community and law enforcement partners

  • Provide important context and background to the media on the law and cases involving the office

  • Develop and maintain relationships with members of the media, community organizations, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication channels

  • Provide strategic counsel to office leadership on communication and other matters as it relates to successful office operations

  • Assist the District Attorney in establishing and implementing strategic goals for public safety and organizational operations to best serve the community
